Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween to all of you!

Isn't Margret Hamilton the best witch of all time?

This is Margret Hamilton's "test" screen shot
for the Wizard of Oz.

She's just the best, and I believe is the standard for
all witches to be judged by.

Everyone be safe out there tonight and please don't overdose on sugar!!!!

My Hat Swap Goodies

Hallow again friends,

I'm finally getting around to show the goodies I received from my swap partner in Viv's Halloween Witch Hat Swap.  My partner was the wonderfully talented Barb from "Lavender and Lollipop Lane  " and she made me this incredible hat from fabric.

Now I only papered a hat form for her, but she actually stitched a hat for me....incredible!  Not to mention that she did this while facing some personal health crisis's at the time.

She included a heavenly smelling pumpkin spice candle (which I've already almost used up), a treat bag full of saltwater taffy and suckers and it's topped off with a gorgeous handmade felt pin.  She also included a wire pumpkin with a tag off to the side with my name on it, and some lovely ribbon, twine and vintage doily and lace pieces.

On top of all of that, she also stitched up this paper and burlap banner and tossed in a few creepy black cool!

I want to thank Viv for hosting this awesome swap, and my swap partner Barb for all of her wondrous creations.

I should be posting pictures of my crafting space soon, as it's almost ready.  This has been the biggest project to date for me, as with all the swaps and crafts I've been making, it's been difficult for me.  How can you possibly keep an area clean when you're in the midst of crafting?

Fall Colors even here in Arizona

Happy Fall Everyone,

First I want to thank everyone who came to visit my presentation last week for "Le Mysterieux Carnival."  I received so many lovely comments, and I really appreciate them.

My husband and I went up to Flagstaff last weekend for two reasons.  The first reason was to visit my son, whose attending NAU (Northern Arizona University) for a marketing degree, and the second reason was to see the fall colors.  I am very fortunate to live in Arizona (born and raised) as we can live in the valley and experience all the wonders of big city living and wondrous winters.  Granted our summers are HOT, but with a little air conditioning or a pool, it's manageable.  Another way to escape the heat of the valley is to drive about 2.5 to 3 hours and be up in the cool mountain air.  For all of you who think Arizona is only desert, I'm here to tell ya that we get all four seasons here, too.

The oldest church in Flagstaff (1800's) aren't the
dragons/gargoyles cool?

Another cool old advertisement.

I went down an alley and found this
weird poster for which I have no
explanation, but I thought it was cool.
We took one of our three dogs (Archie) and we found that they were
celebrating Oktoberfest, so we joined in with all the students and hippies.
I'm here with my son (Chris) and my awesome husband (Kit).
By the way, Flagstaff is one of the most dog-friendly towns I've ever
been to.  We took Archie everywhere and he was welcomed with
treats and water at restaurants.
This is the beginning of the ski lift at "Sno-Bowl" which is covered
by 10-15 feet of snow in the winter and is one of the hottest skiing
locations around.
I took tons of pictures while we were going up to the summit
at 12,000 feet.  It was a 45-50 minute ride up.
At the top I found this really cool dead tree.
I call them ghost trees.
This is my son and I at the "almost" top.  The lift ends at
11,500 feet, but there's a hiking path to the top at 12,000 feet,
which I did not attempt.
Enough said!
On the way back down.
As we were leaving the park, I stopped to take pictures
of the stunning Aspen trees.

Afternoon light in the Aspens....golden!

So I thought I'd share a few piccy's of our trip, and to prove that I do get out of the house once in a while.....;o)  I had so much fun, and the weather was stunning with highs of 70 during the day and lows of 36 at night.  The nights were just perfect for this menopausal woman!

Thanks for stopping by.

Le Mysterieux Carnival is here, come on in!

Winners for my Halloween card giveaway are:

Please contact me at, as soon as possible to give me your address and I can send off your cards to you promptly.  Congratulations, and thank you very much for stopping by.

Welcome to ImagiMeri's Creations presentation on "Le Mysterieux Carnival.  Above is your silver ticket to gain admission.  I'm linked up with the lovely ladies at "Le Mysterieux Carnival" and I highly encourage you to visit all the other participants to see their presentations, you won't be disappointed.

I've created a quick video for you to see my carnival booth, and I have music available to play with the video, so please have your speakers on while watching.  First hit the play button for the music and then hit the play button for the video, this way you get the full enjoyment as the video is timed to the music.  The song and video will play only once and then stop, so you'll have to start the music, again, each time you want to listen to it with the video.  You may also expand the video to full screen by clicking the option on the bottom of the video bar to the farthest right (looks like 4 corner brackets).  If you do choose to watch in full screen, just remember to hit "Esc" when it's done to take you back to regular screen.

Blessings from Blog Friends

Hallow again,

I've gotten so many blessings from beautiful blog friends lately, I just have to show them off.  First up is Lynn Stevens of "Trash to Treasure Art."  Lynn was so freakin' generous, and gifted me with some amazing goodies.

To the left is an amazing altered Altoids tin in which she created
a circus car with attached elephants.  I also received a circus
themed card and a Halloween banner to add to my collection
of friendship banners.
This cone is so amazing, and this picture just
doesn't do it justice.  It was filled with so many
goodies that I ended up using a lot of them for
my upcoming Carnival project.
I had sent her a little altered book I made about
birds.  She reciprocated by sending me this
Halloween's stunning!

She also sent this awesome ATC, for which she is
infamous for.
From my dear friend Kim Kenward of "Musings from Kim K" I received these lovely Halloween favors.

What fun packaging!
A sweet little "scary" sign, a witch and moon stand up due
to a domino, and a dear little shadow box.
Another grouping of friendship banners from lovely bloggers.  My collection is growing, and I hope to post a completed set in the next few weeks.
The one to the left is from Chris McKinley of "Perfectly Printed,"
the one in the middle is from Dear Nan of "Retired in Alaska," and
the one on the right is from Lynn of "Life on a weinee ranch."
A very dear friend, Nan, of "Retired in Alaska" sent me some wonderful homemade strawberry/rhubarb preserves, some adorable polka dot fabric, a friendship banner and a beautiful copper bracelet (made in India)........I'm very spoiled.

Now, a reminder to stop by my blog on this coming Saturday, the 6th of October, to view my presentation about "Le Mysterieux Carnival.  Here's a couple of sneak peeks for what's coming up.

I will be having a giveaway or two as well, so be sure to participate and I'll draw some numbers from the random number app.  I'm giving away two different bundles of custom made Halloween cards to two lucky winners.

Come and see what's going on Saturday.  I'll either have a regular post of images or maybe a'll have to show up to see.
