Yay!!!

It's not broken...........I'm just OLD!  My doctor said it's degenerative arthritis acting up, so no fracture in my hip.  I'd have thought that when I fell down it might have knocked some sense into me, but nope, I'm still the silly goof I've always been.

Anyhoo, Thank you for all your prayers.........it must have worked!  My mom, however, is another issue altogether.  She had a biopsy done on a mark on her face last week and it's come back as carcinoma so she'll have to go get that dug out next week.  I'm going to try and schedule all her dental appointments soon, and hopefully my older sister can help take her to those.  As it is right now I'm seeing my mom about three times a week, and even though I love her dearly, it's getting to be a bit much for me.  I'm not complaining, I consider it an honor to care for her, but there's just so much to do lately.  The caretakers out there in Blog land know what I'm talking about!

I'll be back shortly with more graphics and I'm gonna try to get my tutorial for the "upcycled" light bulb doll class posted soon, too.

Hugs,
Meri

So happy to hear that nothing is broken . . . I have an arthritis problem, too. That was my inheritance from my mother, LOL
Other than that she was pretty healthy, so, like her I will bare the pain . . . and today it is bad.
All in all Life is good :)
I hope that you get some exact help with your Mom, especially while you are hurting.
God bless you.
Your blogging sister, Connie

I'm so glad you are ok! My dad has had several cancerous spots removed, so far no melanoma- thankfully!
Caregiving can be both rewarding and exhausting! You seem like a great daughter!!!

Glad nothing is broke. I took care of my mom years ago when my son was a baby. It was HARD...loved her, but it was difficult on so many levels. I hope you get some help.

Hey Sweetie! So happy it's not broken, but you really do have to try to take it easy! I hope your mom does okay next week, and I hope your sister can help out. I know how trying caring for a parent can be.

Oh my dear friend how thankful I am that you did not break yourself! Please get well soon. I will be praying for your dear mother. She has been through so much, sweet soul.

Have a lovely day!

So glad to hear that you didn't break that hip! And I know how you feel about taking care of your Mom. I take care of mine 3x a week too, and although I love her and don't mind doing it, it can really start to wear on you. Oh, and she had skin cancer on her head too, like your Mom. I hope that you find the time to take care of YOURSELF too!

yea! So glad it's not broke...so now you can get away with being a "pain in the butt" because you have the xrays to prove it! Tehe! Have I thanked you lately for all your wonderful graphics you so kindly share with us?!
I think sometimes the hardest thing when we start being the "caregivers" to our parents there is a little part of us that misses being the "daughter". Praying for God's fill up for you!

Yay on no fractures :)
I helped care for my grandaddy.
It was not a burden, but it was not easy either.
